Day Itinerary

  1. 1 7:00 AM — Hotel pickup in Marrakech. Your guide meets you at the entrance.
  2. 2 Scenic drive through Atlas Mountain foothills and Berber villages (~3 h).
  3. 3 Ouzoud Waterfalls hike — descend the gorge trails to the 110-meter cascades.
  4. 4 Optional boat ride to the base of the falls (small extra cost).
  5. 5 Traditional lunch at a terrace restaurant overlooking the waterfalls.

Where will you pick me up in Marrakech?
We offer door-to-door pickup from any hotel, riad, or accommodation in Marrakech — including the Medina, Gueliz, and Hivernage. After booking you will receive instructions on how to share your exact address. Your guide will meet you at your hotel entrance at 7:00 AM.
What should I bring for the day?
Pack comfortable, sturdy walking shoes (the gorge has uneven stone steps), sunscreen, a hat, and a light jacket — it can be cooler near the falls. Bring personal snacks and water if you wish. A swimsuit is optional if you plan to swim in the natural pools at the base of the falls.
How difficult is the hike? Is it suitable for children?
The trail is rated easy to moderate. Most of the path consists of well-maintained stone steps and flat tracks through the gorge. Children aged 5 and above can complete it comfortably with adult supervision. If you have mobility concerns, ask us before booking and we will advise on the easiest route options.
What happens in bad weather or heavy rain?
The tour runs in most weather conditions — in fact, the falls are even more powerful after rainfall. In the rare event of extreme conditions such as flash flood warnings that make the trip unsafe, we will contact you promptly to offer a reschedule or a full refund.
Can I cancel and get a full refund?
Yes. All bookings made through Viator or GetYourGuide include free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure for a full refund. After that window, refunds are subject to each platform's individual policy. You can manage your booking directly through whichever platform you used to book.
Is lunch included? Are there vegetarian options?
Yes — a traditional Moroccan lunch (tagine, fresh salad, and bread) at a local restaurant with views over the waterfalls is included in all standard tour prices. Vegetarian and vegan tagines are available. Please mention any dietary requirements at the time of booking or directly to your guide on the day.
